The documents on this page include the GKFF contract for the new bridge and two related documents dated 2020; these three documents were received from Mr. Stava in the first half of 2021 (after a request was entered). Also included are related documents received from River Parks dating from 1975 and from 2017 and 2018.
NOTE: Some may be surprised to learn that the new bridge construction contract is simply the construction contract for the Gathering Place (with GKFF Construction, LLC, listed on it); it was just amended to include the Gateway bridge.
One interesting line is to be found in the bottom document, which is titled “Pedestrian Bridge Construction, Maintenance, Operation & Funding Commitment.” Section G states, “Authority has requested, and GKFF has agreed, that GKFF undertake all of the Operational Funding for the project.”
Upon seeing this, one longtime Tulsan commented, “Now we all know who is calling the shots.”
